Privacy Policy
Effective: 16 July 2026
FitYatu is designed as a local-first fitness system. This policy explains what data may be processed, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Data processed on your device
Capability settings, movement plans, packet history and proof processing may remain locally on your device. Camera frames used for supported movement verification are processed on-device by default and raw workout video is not uploaded by default.
Data sent to FitYatu
When sync is enabled, the service may receive account identifiers, movement event identifiers, timestamps, packet and dose summaries, proof level, confidence summary, adapter/model version, app diagnostics you choose to share, and support or deletion requests. Self-logged data remains identified as self-logged.
Permissions
Camera, physical-activity sensors, notifications and optional Health Connect access are requested only when the related feature is used. Declining optional permissions does not turn unsupported activity into verified activity.
Purpose and sharing
Data is used to provide plans, synchronize events, protect integrity, respond to support, improve reliability and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal or health data. Service providers may process the minimum data needed to operate hosting, security or diagnostics under appropriate obligations.
Security and retention
Network traffic is encrypted in transit. Access is limited by role. Account-associated data is retained while the account is active, then deleted or anonymized after a valid deletion request unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention or law.
Your choices
You may control permissions, keep manual alternatives, request access or correction, reset local data separately, and request account deletion at fityatu.com/account-deletion.
Children
The initial FitYatu service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal data.
